Actually I have discovered that the "sidebar" login widgets have a flaw - after successful ligon, they do not update the page you were on so that it looks like you are not logged in. A refresh is necessary. That is the real problem that led me to miniMeta. miniMeta's redirect behavior has led me right back to "sidebar login" but I have not yet solved the refresh issue. Maybe someone else could help you out if I'm wrong.
