Hey Brandon,

I'm sorry I can't be of more help, because, as I said earlier, it's been a while since I've used Minimeta widget. My suggestion would be to use Mingle and the Mingle widget if you plan on managing users in a community fashion. Otherwise you can try Theme my Login and Login with Ajax.

No that is exactly what it does not do - it redirects to the dashboard/profile on the way in and as I specified on the way out.

Actually I have discovered that the "sidebar" login widgets have a flaw - after successful ligon, they do not update the page you were on so that it looks like you are not logged in. A refresh is necessary. That is the real problem that led me to miniMeta. miniMeta's redirect behavior has led me right back to "sidebar login" but I have not yet solved the refresh issue.

It's been a while since I've used the Minimeta widget, I now prefer to use Mingle for things like that, but as far as I can remember the plugin only redirects the user to the page they were one when they logged in / logged out. Maybe someone else could help you out if I'm wrong.

I have instaslled minimeta but I am having problems finding where to set the (advertized) ability to return the user to the page they were on when they logged in or out as opposed to the (UGLY) wordpress login/out default
