Mashable is one of the most popular blogs on the internet. One of the things I always liked about their layout is the social box they have in their sidebar. Even though it’s not in-your-face, it somehow manages to get my attention every time I drop in to see what’s new. Elegant yet effective. If you run a WordPress blog and you would also like have a similar (identical) social box in your sidebar, you can now download and install the WP MashSocial Widget Plugin.

The widget currently supports Facebook, G+, Pinterest and Feedburner. No more LinkedIn. I remember there being a shoddy free version and a better paid version. Fortunately this one was updated very recently and is completely free.
