It’s really inspiring to see the lengths to which WordPress will go, in shaping BuddyPress and other platforms, with the input of their users.

Much has happened since the release of BuddPress 1.0 and much more will happen. The BuddyPress development team now need you, the user, to help them decide what will be in the next couple of versions.

Here’s where you, as a community member come in. We’d like you to play a part in ranking these features, placing the most important features (to you) at the top, and the less important ones at the bottom. Hopefully we can tally enough votes to get a fairly decent overall perspective on what people want first. – BuddyPress.org

Make sure you visit http://buddypress.org/roadmap-ranking/ and cast your votes.

Keep democracy alive.

Cheers

While the pictures from your nuptials often become lasting memories for the rest of your life, creative wedding photography is a great way to capture a lighthearted bride and groom in a variety of candid moments.

Your special day is a chance to plan things your way: the gown, location and themed colors and decor. Choosing your photographer is also extremely important. You want someone who will be reliable, professional, and of course, talented in recognizing fantastic photo opportunities.

When you’re looking for creative wedding photography New Orleans, you are looking for someone who will provide you with quality wedding portraits as well as casual candid shots.

If you’re planning an informal get together, it may be easier to create a fun, carefree environment for your pictures. Louisiana has a number of romantic locations for both formal and informal nuptials: the French Quarter, elegant Southern mansions, or numerous outdoor villas and gardens.

Wedding photographers Lafayette Louisiana or other parts of the state will most likely be familiar with some of the top marriage locations to get great informal shots. Whether that means catching the bride as she laughs with her new husband outside a beautiful garden, or capturing the new couple holding hands as they walk down a downtown New Orleans street hand in hand, a good photojournalist will be able to see the opportunities for the perfect informal shots.

Most professionals will have services that include a number of more creative wedding styles. With so many brides and grooms opting for a more casual ceremony and reception, it’s essential that your Louisiana photographer can properly realize these ideal moments for candid shots, rather than just looking for posed, unnatural stills.

When you’re selecting your photographer, don’t pick the cheapest one you can find to save a few dollars. If you choose to hire the lowest priced, be prepared for potentially unsatisfactory results. Your dream day is not the time to risk it to someone who is unprofessional or inexperienced. Spend the extra money and hire a reliable, experienced Louisiana photographer who will give you the results you love!

When you hire your photographer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, or any other part of the state, discuss your expectations beforehand. If you want a certain style of photos, provide him or her with some ideas or sample pictures to determine the style you’re after.

Every professional has a different approach, but the theme and overall feeling you want your photos to evoke is very important as well. You can also determine a good mix of posed and candid shots – maybe decide on more portrait-style family pictures before the reception, and then candid photos of you and your guests dancing or socializing at the reception.

Creative wedding photos can reflect the casual atmosphere of your special day, or simply allow you to have some gorgeous candid memories from your special day: your mother and father glancing at one another during the speeches, the flower girl sneaking a taste of your special cake icing, or you and your new spouse letting loose on the dance floor during your favorite song.

Wedding photographer Baton Rouge Louisiana or other parts of New Orleans can allow you to use the beauty of Louisiana as your backdrop, and a talented photographer can help you take memorable creative celebratory photos of your day.

Okay, so you’ve spotted the big one. You try everything but of course the big ones seem to never follow when you need them to.

I recently had the same problem and decided to do something I did a long time ago. Go SLOW.

It’s impossible for me to emphasize the importance of patience. You might be standing there for more than a hundred casts, but you need to.

Coming to the lightest weight possible scenario. When casting into a patch with sludge and grass, it always works better with a light weight. If you have a light weight and a big plastic creature bait this will give the bait some more time to sink. Possibly it wont ever hit the ground.

Use a 1/4 ounce bullet with a number 5 hook. Use the biggest creature bait that this fish might be able to swallow. Cast behind the big one and slowly retrieve your line, stop and give it slow jerks.. if that’s possible. Always retrieve your line at the same speed and jerks until it hits land/boat. It often happens that they strike at the last possible moment.

Tips: You can also let the bait rest for a few seconds, but not to long as the bass might lose interest.

Don’t hit as soon as you feel the bite, keep on retrieving a few more inches and if you feel it again HIT.

That should do the trick.

You might be interested in stocking your own private dam with big mouth bass.

There is however some important points to remember:

1. It is illegal in many countries, and states.

2. You might need a licence for transportation and stocking.

3. The bass might not make it.

If you’re sure what you’re planning on doing is legal then follow the next few steps to get that dam producing record size bass!

First, Minnows (Barbus paludinosus), at least 3 000 – 5 000/ Hectare of surface area of water, to form a forage base, then Redbreast Kurper (Tilapia rendalli), Vlei Kurper (Tilapia sparrmanii), Dwarf Kurper/ Southern Mouthbrooder (Hemihaplochromis philander) or Bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus) or a combination of these (1 000 total/ Hectare) and, finally, the Bass (250 – 500/ Hectare) at least 3 – 6 months after the other fish. These Bass stocking rates are for fingerlings or fry.

Thus it’s important to stock your dam with local fish species, to serve as forage base. Do so months ahead.

Bass numbers are usually only available during November and December, that’s why you should have everything setup and ready during pre-spawn season.

Try stocking Florida strain bass, as they grow faster and larger than Northern strain Bass.

Many big lakes stock Rainbow Trout after two years of initial Bass stocking. You can repeat this every year or half-yearly. Trout contains a specific hormone which will increase the growth rate of bass which forage on them.

If your dam contains an abundance of weeds, which decreases the water’s oxygen level, you can stock a few Grass Carp. In my personal opinion it’s a bad idea, because they breed very quickly, is Asian, and will completely destroy your dams vegetation if kept for a too long period.

We’re in the process of stocking a new dam and will try to keep your updated on the progress.
